We are seeking a Cloud Security Analyst to evaluate and enhance our cloud security measures. In this role, you will assess our cloud infrastructure, identify vulnerabilities, and implement security enhancements to protect our organization's data and resources in the cloud environment

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field is preferred.

• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or AWS Certified Security - Specialty are a plus.

 

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in cloud security assessment, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing.

• Hands-on experience with cloud architecture and security in public, private, or hybrid cloud environments.

• Proficiency with security assessment tools and platforms like Nessus, Qualys, or OWASP ZAP.

• Familiarity with cloud incident response procedures and breach detection.

• Demonstrated experience in assessing and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

 

Job Description/Responsibility:

• Plan and execute comprehensive security assessments of cloud environments to identify vulnerabilities and assess security controls.

• Evaluate and prioritize security risks, vulnerabilities, and threats in the cloud infrastructure, applications, and data.

• Ensure cloud systems adhere to relevant compliance standards and industry best practices.

• Create detailed reports and documentation of security assessment findings and remediation recommendations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security gaps, provide security awareness training, and drive a culture of security within the organization.

• Assist in the development and testing of incident response plans specific to cloud environments.

 

Requirements/Must-Have Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of cloud security principles, architectures, and services in platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Proficiency in using vulnerability assessment tools to identify weaknesses and security flaws.

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to cloud security.

• Ability to recommend and implement security measures and remediation strategies to mitigate identified threats.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and address complex security issues.

• Basic scripting or coding skills for automating security assessment tasks and analyzing findings.
