Job description

As a Sales Support Representative (DACH) focusing on Small and Medium Business (SMB) accounts, you will handle various customer requests and support sales and billing processes. Your role involves managing incoming customer queries, routing them to appropriate departments, and ensuring follow-ups on open cases. You will also assist with account management, support lead creation, and work closely with sales and renewals departments.

 

Qualifications:

  • High level of internal communication skills and focus on customer satisfaction.

  • Fluent or native German and English speaker.

  • Experience with MS Office 365 preferred.

  • Self-starter with a keen attention to detail and ability to collaborate with business stakeholders.

  • Experience with Salesforce preferred.

  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of end-to-end processes and the ability to suggest improvements.

  • Team player who can collaborate across teams to identify needs, partner for resolution, and execute new initiatives.

 

Experience:

  • Experience in handling customer requests and support in a sales context.

  • Proven track record in managing billing and technical support cases.

  • Experience with Salesforce and MS Office 365.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team.

 

Responsibility:

  • Follow up and monitor incoming SMB customer requests and escalations for billing and technical support, routing issues to the appropriate departments and communicating back to customers as needed.

  • Open and manage internal cases related to TechSupport and Billing, escalating issues appropriately.

  • Handle support leads coming via contact sales by creating and managing support cases in Salesforce (SFDC).

  • Assist Billing with tracking open invoices, identifying the correct billing contacts for dunning requests, and addressing invoice/billing-related questions.

  • Manage account reassignment and territory requests with SalesOps, including account vetting and resolving ownership disputes.

  • Support Sales Account Executives (AEs) with sending out standard add-on quotes for SMB accounts and partners.

  • Collaborate with the Renewals department on questions related to upcoming SMB renewals.

  • Review Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL) and help AEs/BDRs with outreach sequences, redirect initial queries to SMB resources, and prepare standard quotes if needed.

  • Run campaigns targeting low SMB accounts, such as closed lost opportunities and inactive accounts.

  • Analyze AE territories for low and mid SMB accounts, identify potential upsell cases, and flag these to AEs.

 

Skills: 

  • Strong internal communication and customer satisfaction focus.

  • Proficiency in German and English.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce and MS Office 365.

  • Attention to detail and ability to collaborate effectively.

  • Business acumen and process improvement skills.
