Job description

​Technaura is seeking a talented Linux Software Engineer to join our client’s team in Darmstadt. The Linux Competence and Service Center (LCSC) delivers internally used operating systems and the Linux Platform (LP). As part of the ongoing development of the LP, various DFS products such as iCAS RIS, PHX-CC, ATCAS, ATCISS, CMMC, AMAN, and new systems like VRAP are implemented on the LP. Additionally, systems like P2OS within the ATCAS and ATCISS environments are being modernized from LP2 to LP3.

Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge of Linux systems (Red Hat, AlmaLinux, Debian).

• Linux system administration, shell scripting, C/C++ proficiency.

• Experience with source code control systems (Git).

• Familiarity with Jira.

• Structured software development experience.

Experience:

• Proficiency with Puppet and Ansible.

• Experience with development based on the V-Model.

• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 12207 standards for software development.

• Python scripting.

• Experience with IBM Rational DOORS and Microfocus ALM.

• Proficiency with Qt class libraries.

• Package building (RPM), Yast, Kickstart.

Job Description/Responsibility:

• Develop and maintain LP3-based Linux operating systems.

• Address and resolve bugs and change requests in LP3.

• Collaborate with the LCSC team and clients to understand requirements and implement solutions.

• Document implemented solutions.
