We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to be a part of our specialized and highly motivated team in Germany/Hungary. As part of Technaura’s team, you will contribute to the success of our customers in using cutting edge software technology for big data and streaming architecture.

Job Responsibilities

 

• You implement data engineering/streaming technologies and frameworks (e.g. Apache Kafka, Spark, Hadoop)

• You participate in designing and maintaining cloud-based, distributed systems, and structured application, event logging for analytics and machine learning

• You deploy, monitor, troubleshoot and optimize multi-tier applications in distributed systems at scale

• You ensure the continues improvement of the cloud or on-prem environment

Required Skills

 

• University degree in Computer science or similar.

• Thorough knowledge and 1+ year experience in configuring and running Kafka clusters in the cloud or on prem

• 1+ year experience in using containerized applications using e.g. Docker and Kubernetes

• 1+ year experience in data streaming platforms

• 1+ year experience in administering SQL or NoSQL databases

• 2+ year experience in running CI/CD pipelines using e.g. Jenkins, GIT. You are familiar with agile

• Know-how in using cloud services (Azure, GCP or AWS)

• Fluent English business language, German language skills are preferred

• Willingness to accept business trips depending on projects and your work location (up to 4 days per week)
