We are looking for a Physical Security Analyst to evaluate and enhance our physical security measures. In this role, you will assess our physical security infrastructure, identify vulnerabilities, and implement security enhancements to protect our organization's physical assets

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in a related field such as security management, criminal justice, or a similar discipline.

• Preferred certifications including Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are a plus.

 

Experience:

• Security Analysis: 2-3 years of experience in physical security analysis or a related field.

• Security Systems: Familiarity with security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and alarms.

• Risk Assessment: Experience in conducting risk assessments and vulnerability analyses.

• Incident Response: Knowledge of incident response procedures and crisis management.

• Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in using security software and tools for monitoring and reporting.

 

Job Description/Responsibility:

• Evaluate and analyze physical security measures, identifying weaknesses and recommending improvements.

• Develop strategies to mitigate security risks, including access control, surveillance, and emergency response procedures.

• Continuously monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely reporting and resolution.

• Prepare detailed reports on security vulnerabilities, and incidents, and suggest improvements for management and stakeholders.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT security, to ensure a holistic approach to security.

• Ensure that physical security measures align with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

 

Requirements/Must have skills:

• Strong analytical skills to identify vulnerabilities and assess security risks.

• In-depth knowledge of physical security technologies and best practices.

• Meticulous attention to detail in security assessments and risk analysis.

• Ability to adapt to evolving security threats and technologies.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with various stakeholders.

• Strong critical thinking abilities for making sound security recommendations and decisions.
